Deaton Ville School, located at KM. 38, Lagos/Epe Expressway, Lakowe Golf Course Bus Stop, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, recently organized an educational excursion for its students to the Shoprite branch in Sangotedo, Lagos. The purpose of this trip was to provide students with a real-world learning experience that complements their classroom instruction.

 

The excursion, carefully planned and supervised by the school's faculty, aimed to enhance students' understanding of various concepts through practical observation. Students were exposed to the operations of a large retail environment, including inventory management, customer service, and the dynamics of supply and demand.

They observed how products are organized and displayed, inquired about pricing strategies, and learned about the importance of hygiene and safety standards in the food industry.
